Operational Hospital Procurement Specialist (m/f/d)
in PT or FT
Your main responsibilities include:
- Ordering of medical consumables, implants, instruments, and office supplies
- Assisting with supplier and material evaluation in cooperation with strategic procurement
- Handling internal and external claims/complaints
- Invoice processing
- Booking consignment stock receipts
- Master data maintenance and commodity group structure
- Cooperation with the affiliated purchasing organization
- Introduction of new consumables (approval procedures, product testing in consultation with users and physicians)
- Development and implementation of purchasing and supply strategies in coordination with the Head of Purchasing
- Identification of savings potential in all areas falling under the responsibility of procurement
- Preparation of procurement decisions based on profitability analyses, considering predetermined budgets, in cooperation with the Head of Purchasing
Your profile includes:
Completed commercial or technical vocational training or comparable education; preferably combined with further business administration and/or technical training in procurement.
- Many years of professional experience in purchasing and materials management desirable – preferably in the healthcare sector
- Solid knowledge of the relevant procurement markets
- Strong negotiation skills, assertiveness, and a professional demeanor
- Self-initiative, sense of responsibility, and a structured way of working. Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficient in using common materials management (MaWi) / ERP systems – preferably Agfa Orbis
- High resilience and ability to handle pressure
