Hospital Concepts: Building for the Health of Tomorrow – The Hospital as an Adaptable Organism
We at Gallmann & Schug look back on two fantastic days at the "hospital concepts" specialist congress in Berlin! It was exciting to discuss, alongside leading experts from practice, science, and politics, how hospitals can be prepared for the demands of the future. Topics such as economic efficiency, legislation, sustainability, climate neutrality, and resilience were at the heart of the presentations and discussions.
A highlight: Dr. med. Peter Vetter with his presentation on the necessary shift to outpatient care in clinics and the active shaping of operational organizational processes.
The event was moderated by Manfred Wolf, a board member of emtec e.V., and by Insa Schrader. Particularly inspiring was the keynote by Prof. Martin Korte from TU Braunschweig, who impressively elaborated on the event's motto "The hospital as an adaptable organism" with his lecture "Learning from brains and neural networks."
The exchange and networking were valuable and provided many exciting impulses for the future of our work on healthcare infrastructure.
These were wonderful days – thanks to all participants and organizers!
